Withdrawing Funds

What can I do with my funds once they are in my Stablepay wallet?

You can transfer funds from your Stablepay wallet to any bank account of your choosing, as long as it's in a country that Stablepay supports. Transfers to a bank account are supported through local and international rails such as ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, and Pix, depending on your country. Eligible users can also spend directly using a Stablepay card.

How do I add or update a bank account for transfers from Stablepay?

When you sign up, Stablepay provides you with your own wallet. Those wallet details are fixed and can't be edited. From there you can send funds to any bank account of your choosing whenever you like in a country supported by Stablepay. You can update those third-party bank details at any time – you can even have multiple ones set up for you to send funds to.

What fees will I pay to transfer funds out of my Stablepay wallet?

If you transfer funds out of your Stablepay wallet, or convert between currencies, fees vary depending on the transfer method and destination. Any applicable transfer or FX fee will be shown clearly in the app before you confirm so you will always know the cost upfront.

I'm getting a "Correspondent Bank Code" error when adding a SWIFT recipient. What should I enter?

For USD SWIFT payments, the correspondent bank must be a bank located in the United States. The correspondent bank code is usually provided by the recipient's bank, so ask your recipient to request it from their bank first. If the recipient's bank doesn't provide it, you can search for it online. AI tools are good at finding it. Try a prompt like: "Find me the USD SWIFT Correspondent Bank Code for my bank with code {CODE}. The correspondent bank code must be from a US bank." Replace {CODE} with the recipient bank's SWIFT/BIC code, then enter the correspondent bank code you find when adding the recipient in Stablepay.

What is the difference between Bank Transfer and Payment via Link?

Bank Transfer: A bank transfer is the recommended option when you want to send funds to a bank account at another financial institution, whether it's your own account or someone else's. The cost and processing time depend on the currency and the payment rail used (e.g., ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, or local payment networks) - some transfers arrive within hours, while others may take a few business days.

Payment via Link: If you're sending money to someone who is already a Stablepay user, or someone who'd like to become one, we recommend using a payment link instead. Payment links are tied to the recipient's phone number, and claims are instant and free of charge.

In short: use a bank transfer to reach an external bank account, and use a payment link for fast, fee-free transfers to other Stablepay users.
