How do I change my Stablepay app password?
Stablepay does not use a traditional password. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time verification code sent via SMS. You'll also set a device passcode during setup, with the option to enable biometrics such as Face ID or fingerprint on supported devices. This approach is secure by design. If you want to change your passcode please follow these steps: Face icon (Home screen) → Security & Privacy → Sign-in & Passcode → Change passcode.
I forgot my Stablepay passcode. What should I do?
If you've forgotten your passcode, you can re-verify with your phone number and a new SMS code, then set a new passcode. Switching to a new device is seamless too, as long as you have the same number, just sign in as usual and everything will be as you left it. If you've lost access to your phone number entirely, please reach out to our support team.
How do I change my address or contact information on Stablepay?
To update your address, please reach out to our support team and they'll help you make the change. You can contact support directly through the in-app chat.
What are the differences between Personal, Sole Proprietor and Business Stablepay accounts?
A personal account is for individuals paid in their own name. A sole proprietor account is for individuals paid as an unincorporated business. A business account is for incorporated companies and legal entities. A business account will need to verify both the company and its beneficial owner(s). If you're a single-member LLC, that beneficial owner is just you, so you'll provide your company's details along with your own ID.
Stablepay currently supports individual and sole proprietor accounts in most countries, with support for additional business entity types and countries coming soon. We will send those users a separate communication in the coming weeks.
I selected the wrong account type — what do I do?
Please reach out via the in-app support and we'll help get you set up with the right one. It's best to contact us before completing verification, since your account type determines how your identity or business is verified.
